The 290 delivers most of the features found in more expensive boats. The Rinker is a capable entertainment platform with a comfortable cabin layout and plenty of cockpit seating. Built on a solid fiberglass hull, the interior is arranged in the typical fashion with a forward V-berth, an extra-large double mid-cabin berth, and a convertible settee.

The TV/VCR is positioned for easy viewing, and cherry laminate cabinets and faux granite counters accent the full-service galley. Topside, an L-lounge opposite the helm and a bench seat at the transom will seat several passengers in comfort.

An electric hatch provides good access to the engine compartment. A radar arch, extended swim platform, windlass and tilt steering wheel were all standard.
